Editorial Policy

Hytale Server Tools aims to publish technical information that a server operator can verify and use. Pages distinguish supported facts, reproducible observations, calculations, provider claims, and unresolved questions.

Research order

When sources disagree, the preferred order is:

1. Current official Hytale server documentation and patch notes.
2. Reproducible behavior on the stated release or pre-release build.
3. Official Hypixel Studios statements and support guidance.
4. Provider documentation for provider-specific features.
5. Community reports used as leads rather than unquestioned facts.

Version and review labels

Commands, defaults, APIs, plugin behavior, and configuration formats can change between Hytale updates. Technical pages should identify the review date and, where relevant, the patchline or version tested.

Release and pre-release behavior must not be mixed without an explicit label.

Corrections

Confirmed errors should be corrected promptly. Useful reports include the exact page, server and client versions, operating system, Java version, redacted logs, and reproducible steps. Use the contact page to submit a correction.

Commercial content

Affiliate relationships do not prove that a host or product is better. Comparisons should identify tracked links, the source and review date of provider claims, renewal pricing, backup and export limitations, regions, support terms, and refund conditions.

The site will not claim hands-on testing unless that testing actually occurred.

Artificial intelligence and automation

Automation may help organize research, check consistency, or draft material. Published technical claims still require an appropriate source or reproducible test. The site should not mass-produce pages merely to target search phrases.
